SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY 2022

Small Business Saturday - 3rd December 2022

Small Business Saturday takes place on the first Saturday of December every year. It is a UK based campaign that aims to get people to support small businesses in their local area and have a lasting impact on all small businesses around the UK. This year will be their 10th anniversary!

Small Business Saturday is extremely popular on social media, with the hashtags #smallbizsatuk and #smallbusinesssaturday. Have a look on social media and read some posts about other small businesses and support from the public. Look out for our post on the Excellect Instagram account @excellectuk. The Small Business Saturday Instagram account is also posting about 1 small business a day in the 100 days leading up to small business Saturday called Small Biz 100, so have a look at some of their businesses they will be highlighting this year.

The Small Business Saturday Campaign runs a UK tour that will begin at the end of October and stop in 23 towns and cities throughout the UK for 5 weeks up until Small Business Saturday on 3rd December. As well as having interviews, workshops and mentoring sessions from experts, the tour will be led with electric and zero emissions vehicles so they aim to be as sustainable as they can!
